How it works

Simple for you. Reliable for your residents.

BasepointGrid handles the equipment, the paperwork, and the operation. You sign a site-host agreement and set aside a couple of parking spots — we handle the rest.

01

We provide the hardware

BasepointGrid covers $10,000 in commercial hardware at $0 upfront equipment cost to your property — a premium dual-port Smart Charger, commercial grade, built for long-term operation.

02

Residents charge

Your residents access charging from their phone. No fobs, no keys. Billing is handled automatically per session, day and night.

03

You earn every month

You receive a monthly revenue share from every session charged at your property. Estimated $70–$85/month for a single-charger pilot. No management required on your end.

Why BasepointGrid

Built around the property owner.

Most EV charging programs ask you to buy equipment or manage vendors. We built ours to put as little as possible on your plate.

$0 equipment cost

We fund 100% of the hardware, PG&E permitting and engineering, and ongoing maintenance. The only piece that may fall to you is property-side electrical conduit — handled by a local electrician we connect you with, or routed through PG&E's infrastructure funding program.

Fully managed operation

Network monitoring, driver support, maintenance, and billing — all handled by BasepointGrid. Fully passive for you.

Founding Partner rate

Our first five properties start at a 10% gross revenue share — stepping up to 15% as your property helps drive resident adoption and usage. Only a handful of slots remain.

$1.5M liability coverage

BasepointGrid maintains a $1.5M commercial general liability policy naming your property as additional insured on every installation.

Streamlined permitting

California AB 1236 establishes a non-discretionary permit process for EV charger installations. No planning commission review required.

Premium Smart-Networked hardware

Commercial-grade dual-port Level 2 charging with 24/7 network monitoring and driver support, built for daily multifamily use.
